You know, it would be cool if upon post of a NEW thread if the Forum software could scan the Subject (title) for keywords such as SW, BTTF, Star Wars, Godfather, etc. and then list the most recent threads that also have such keywords (with links for review) and then ask the question "do you still want to post this new thread"?
That would be cool. Yesterday was rediculous. There were like three or four "Godfather specs released" threads that popped up in the matter of an hour.
Of course someone would have to program this into the forum code but it would really be great.

Heather or Geoff, would it be possible for either of you post a sticky thread at the top of the DVDTalk forum page explaining the "search" function to a lot of these people before they flood the forum with another thread about Episode 1/Godfather/BTTF?
This is getting rediculous.

Can't do sticky threads in this version of the forum software.
Whatever happened to Jim Rochester's thread, did people just get boreed of bumping it up all the time?

You know, when people register on this site they should automatically be navigated to that thread.
Geoff... anyway you can do that?
