Looking for $100 and less. Had a decent pair of seinheissers (sp) but my puppy ate them.

Search the forums at http://www.headwize.com for great info about headphones.

Generally speaking, grado sr-60/sr-80 ($70/$100), sony v-6 ($80), and the koss sporta pro/prorta pro/ksc-35's ($15-$50) are good headphones. The sennheisser 495's are supposed to be good and their within your price range.

Check out circuit city for the koss ksc-35 which are on clearance for $15. I own the grado sr-60's ($70) and the sennheisser hd-600's ($300+) and the koss are really good headphones. I like them much better then the grados.

Slightly more than the $100 limit, but I'm pretty partial to my Sennheiser 570's. Really clean, warm tone. They're amazingly comfortable. I can wear them all day at the office without needing to take them off.

The Grados are excellent in terms of sound quality, but aren't very comfortable.
