I want to know your views on the transfer, sound (Italian and English tracks), extras, etc. I really want to get this movie, but I have my reservations because of the price. Let me know if it is worth it...

And just a note, Life is Beautiful is/was an enrollment selection from Columbia House, so if you got it from there, it would cost around ~$10. See the DVD Bargins forum for more info.

Just picked this up recently, and it's a great DVD. The picture and sound quality are top-notch, and it's great to have the options of Italian-only, Italian with English subtitles, English-dubbed, etc. But the English dub is kind of lame, unless you really don't like reading subtitles.
The bonus features are okay, but they have like 12 TV spots on there, and they're virtually the same, and play one after the other. After the first few, you can't hit the Menu button quickly enough! The featurette is interesting.
But when you get right down to it, this is such a great film that no DVD collection should be without it.
