I'm having trouble gettign my universal remote to learn codes from the remote that came with my Sony ES receiver (its one of those touch screen models) The Sony remote is RM-TP502. I've been able to learn to codes from all my other remotes.

Any suggestions?

the problem is that some of the Sony IR commands are "two-way". however, there are some tricks you can use to get your remote to learn some of them. check out the Sony thread at http://www.remotecentral.com. these tips may or may not work for you, but it's worth a shot. i got eventually got my Pronto to learn about 70% of the commands from a Sony 550es (which used the earlier version of the remote you have).
