I want to buy the Kenwood HTB-553, but can't find it in stores. Is it only available online?

The retailers on the Kenwood web site only sell receivers, not HTB's

Please, that's ILLEGAL.

Besides, he wouldn't want to work for a BEARS fan :D

Can't really answer your question, but Crazy Eddie sells them. I have no idea if the price is a good deal, but they have some decent prices so I thought I would give it a shot!

Have you tried Sears? thats where i got my 503. it was the last one they had, back in Feb. if you prepay and order it online, they may be able to ship it to a store near you and not stick you w/ a shipping/handeling charge. the box this thing came in is huge. i could barely get it in the back of a mid-sized car. not that heavy, considering, but certainly a pain in the ass w/out a 2-wheeler, so you may just want to pony up the money to have them bring it to your door.

Ah ... yes...Circuit City has it. I just went there last nite and saw the HTB504. Hm...I knew they wouldn't have the exact model, but I'll check it out in more detail in a few weeks.

Thanks guys.
