Not just ignoring in the sense of it's there and I just ignore it, but ignore the threads they start as well as their posts? This would be a quite useful and who knows, might help us be nicer to members (by not acknowledging they are here).

I think the new, but too resource hungry, version of the software allowed that.

Why would you want to ignore someone? I have about 2 people on this forum that I can't stand for whatever reason.

BUT, sometiems they submit something that really helps me. I think the best bet is to "close your eyes"

Weird, I see a thread open, but I don't see anyone posting in it? Geoff, did you get your "ignoring" software to finally work? Maybe I should take those three guys that really piss me off and annoy me, off my list?

Yep it was available in the new version of Vbulletin that crashed the service. I had four people on my ignore list.
