is there anyway to "watch a thread" as in mark it and then when you log back on it can be stuck to the top so you dont have to fish through pages of other threads?

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure that Geoff had implemented this at one point, but I see nothing about it now....

That's a feature in VB2, the ability to "subscribe" to threads and/or forums. Not available in this version, and since the new version probably won't be making a return for a while yet, if at all...

You could always just bookmark threads you're interested in...

You can post in a thread and set your profile so that whenever someone replies, it emails you. Not what you want, but its better than nothing.

As <b>TCHJ</b> intimates, you could set up a DVD Talk folder in your browser and in there save the links to the various threads in which you are interested.

Another option is to keep a wordprocessor file on your desktop and save the URLs to that. Also handy for composing posts offline.

And when I want to check up on the threads to which I've recently contributed I just do the obvious thing with the search function.
