Just curious if anyone had anything to say about this set good or bad. I'm looking to spend about 2k for a new tv and due to size restrictions I sadly have to limit to 36. I was checking out the Wega's at best buy today and saw this set. It caught my eye price was right and it was digital and hdtv ready.

Consider the TOSHIBA 40", 16:9, HDTV. The foot print is only 36 wide X 18 deep. On sale at less than $2000 at Best Buy. Dual component inputs to accomodate both DVD and an HD receiver.

The 36 Wega costs nearly that and more if your are going the XBR version. Plus, while the picture is very clear, it is still 4:3 format.

I have the Proscan model of the year before. The same TV except the coponent video does not handle progressive. I picked it up with the proscan 105 box the same as the rca direct tv hdtv set up. I think it is a hell of a set. Great picture and two vga inputs.
