For me, it'd be Dr. Mario (NES/SNES). I beat my friends at a lot of games, but there's one game that I especially dominate at: Dr. Mario. I send over so many garbage blocks that they've started to hate playing against me. They have to be at least 3 levels lower than I am for it to even be competitive, and I usually still win. I love that game. :)

NHL '94 for SNES. I know that many people enjoyed the Genesis version more, but the SNES had mad Goalie Control which added an awesome dimension to the gameplay.
My friends and I joined our college's student council and used our positions as an excuse to get out of classes, get the video projector and sign out classrooms to play four hour long NHL '94 tournaments. People used to come around and ask to play and we quickly acquiesced because, hey -- fresh meat!
My bud and I became equally good at the game, he defense-wise and myself offense-wise. We could take people on and shame them totally. Strangely enough we couldn't play on the same team, never were successful 2-on-2. I guess we were both so used to carrying the team that we both kept trying to take over.

I'll take NHL 93 any day on Genesis. Blood and fighting makes the game much better. I would trade that for the shoot out.
