I could only find little bits of info on this, so maybe someone can clear this up for me. When is the modem for the PS2 going to be on its way over here? I heard something about AIWA making one in Japan this summer. Also, does Sony plan to offer ethernet connections like the XboX? And if anyone has any info on how the online service will work I would be interested in that as well.

I'm sure most of this will be explined at E3 so if anyone gets any info please post here in case I miss it. Thanks.

It seems like I just read an article stating PS2 will jump straight to an ethernet adapter and bypass producing a modem in the US. I don't remember where I read the article. I want to say it was gamespot.com, but I could be wrong.
