Hey, I ordered Antz DTS and Rocky collection from 800.com one day last week. A few days later, my package came via USPS. The package looked small so I thought only Antz was in the box, even though all correspondence said both were coming.

I opened the box and found Laurence of Arabia and Ben Hur. The invoice inside the box said Antz and Rocky. What the feck?

Called 800.com and the person said I would get an email with a return label and she would ship out the correct 2 DVD's that day. As of now, I haven't gotten the email and I am waiting on the DVD's still.

Should I have stayed away from 800 or what?

Sad to hear it, I've always found that 800.com had good customer service. I hope they aren't going down hill, I hope they answer your concerns.

Me too. I have ordered from them many times (mostly several months to a year ago) and they have been great. I have only had had one problem with them in the past and they told me to go ahead and keep the wrong item the sent. I agree, I hope there service stays on the up-and-up in this decline of internet sites....

I am surprised steve from 800.com has not seen this yet. I hope they will survive because they have always given me good customer service.

In my opinion 800.com is the only good online store.

Capple,

I'm sorry to hear about the mix up in your order. If you would send me an email with your order # I will make sure your order gets straighten out as quickly as possible. It is likely that the return and reorder process is already underway, occasionally however it can take a few days to process a return label.

Best Regards,

800.com has always given me good service. However, I stopped using them when they took away my ability to cancel an order without emailing them. You used to be able to do this with a click of a button, but not anymore.

Capple,

Definitely email Jperks. He's one of the 800.com csr that helped me out of a jam with a defective dvd that I purchased which was beyond the normal 30day return policy. Both Jperks and SteveA were really helpful.

Kinda OT but Steve Armbrust (DVDTalk member 'SteveA') left 800.com in February of this year after almost 2 years in this forum. He returned to a former employer of his, Intel.

Here is a thread on Steve's departure:

Josh, (DVDTalk member 'JPerks') has picked up Steve's role as local 800.com representative.

I've ordered a number of products including DVDs from 800.com. Great service. They resolved any issue I had with an order. Miss the free popcorn though. :)

Can someone email me JPerks email address at 800.com?

Something is happening up there because today I just received notification that they just packaged my Love Potion #9 DVD. Problem is they sent it to me last week.

I don't want to get a double billing on this.

Prior to this, I have had nothing but EXCELLENT service from them.

OOPS...Never Mind...Sometimes it helps to read things!!!
DUHH! It must be old age.... Sorry!

Thanks
