nOrh 4.0 or HTD III

The nOrh are 850 for 2 pair and a center, and the HTD are 750 for 5.1. have any of you heard either of these I am leaning to the HTD for the sub but I really don't know

Definitely go with the HTD. Unless you think the nOrh is better.

Both sets of speakers are well regarded by those that have dealt with them, which I haven't. The HTD IIIs have reviewed well in all categories, though they're stronger for home theater than for music.

One exception that I've heard is that the HTD subwoofers are only average in their price range (eTown claimed that the bookshelf IIIs generally outperformed most speakers even close to their price range and weren't consistently outperformed by any speakers that cost less than $500/pair). HTD is releasing a redesigned Level III subwoofer next month, maybe that will improve the price/performance.

I'm planning on going with HTD IIs or HTD IIIs, depending on whether or not I can justify the extra money to myself. I probably can, if for no other reason than I'll always be wondering how much better my home theater would have been if I had spent the extra money if I don't spend it.
