My Password won't work!!

I've been attempting to change my profile and have so far been unsuccessful because my password wasn't accepted. So I clicked for them to send me my password, then I cut and pasted it but it still didn't work. I think it has to do with my password being 14 characters long while the password box only holds 13 characters. Any help?
