I saw the remastered print in a theater a few months ago and was stunned by its beauty.

I noticed that the MGM (!!!) DVD just came out. How well/poorly did they remaster it (hopefully restored like the print in theatre was)?

Are the subtitles burned in or video? I love the film strictly for its visuals and atmosphere, so am curious mainly about video quality (and the package claims it's anamorphic.). Thanks in advance.

I was happy that MGM did an anamorphic transfer. There are French, English, and Spanish subtitles (all removable). Here's a review of Fellini's Satyricon
