Title: ATELIER ESCHA & LOGY: ALCHEMISTS OF THE DUSK SKY
Published by: Sentai Filmworks
Distributed by: Section23 Films
Run Time: 300 min.
Street Date: 7/7/2015
Format: DVD, BD
Language: Japanese with English Subtitles
SRP: $49.98, $59.98
SYNOPSIS: Ever since she was a little girl, Escha Malier has held two dreams in her heart: to become an Alchemist like her late mother, and to one day explore the mysterious ruins that float in the sky above her home town. Now, after years of study, she's ready to make the first dream come true, working in the R&D branch of her town's Alchemy department. However, while she has all of the knowledge and skills required to meet the job head on, she's not quite as ready for new coworker, Logix "Logy" Fiscario. They seem to be such total opposites, in everything from their attitudes on life to the tools they prefer. Not to mention that he's from the well-populated central region, while she's always lived out on the very edge of what's left of civilization. But as contaminants and pollution threaten the farmlands that keep their people alive, they'll have to work together to seek out the causes and protect their people from the blight and dust that has consumed most of the world. Because sometimes, when one person alone can't save the world, two of them, working in harmony, can.
Title: ONE WEEK FRIENDS
Published by: Sentai Filmworks
Distributed by: Section23 Films
Run Time: 300 min.
Street Date: 7/7/2015
Format: DVD, BD
Language: Japanese with English Subtitles
SRP: $49.98, $59.98
SYNOPSIS: Every lifetime is composed of millions of memories… but what happens if those memories don't all connect? When Yuki Hase notices that Kaori Fujimiya seems to be alone and friendless at his school, he immediately wants to reach out to her. Much to his surprise, though, his overtures are turned down, and he's completely stunned when he finds out why: it seems that ever since she was in a tragic accident, Kaori has been losing part of her memory every Monday, including all her recollection of everyone who's become her friend. It's not that she doesn't want friends, but that she can't remember having any. That's not enough of an obstacle for Yuki, however, and he becomes determined to make friends with Kaori every week. Because while most memories fade, there are some that, if you believe strongly enough and never give up, might just be able to last forever. Prepare to fall in love, over and over again, as the age old story of boy meets girl repeats itself every week in ONE WEEK FRIENDS.
Title: FAMILIAR OF ZERO: F SEASON 4
Published by: Sentai Filmworks
Distributed by: Section23 Films
Run Time: 300 min.
Street Date: 7/14/2015
Format: DVD, BD
Language: Japanese with English Subtitles
SRP: $49.98, $59.98
SYNOPSIS: Their relationship has been building ever since she first accidentally kidnapped him from Earth, but, even with all they've been though together, are Saito and Louise ready to take their relationship to the next level? The answer, sadly, will have to wait, as once again events in Halkeginia are running out of control and Saito and Louise find themselves, along with several other Void Mages, pressed into service to save the world. And while any mission involving Void Magic is sure to suck at some point, the suck-age is certain to be compounded by the fact that one of the mages they'll be working with is the amply endowed elf Tiffania. Who may have designs on getting familiar with Saito herself. Betrayals, reversals and the inevitable side trip to the hot springs lie ahead as the evil plots get plottier, the dysfunctional relationships get even more dysfunctional and lots of stuff goes BOOM for only vaguely justifiable reasons! It's the epic fourth, and quite possibly final, installment of the acclaimed comedy series, so almost anything that can happen, probably WILL happen in FAMILIAR OF ZERO F!
Title: IS THE ORDER A RABBIT?
Published by: Sentai Filmworks
Distributed by: Section23 Films
Run Time: 300 min.
Street Date: 7/14/2015
Format: DVD, BD
Language: Japanese with English Subtitles
SRP: $49.98, $59.98
SYNOPSIS: Coming to a new town to start high school can be intimidating, and that's especially true for Cocoa, who can't find the place she's supposed to be staying when she arrives. When she stops at a cafe to ask for directions, however, it turns out that she's already where she needs to be! You see, the Rabbit House is both a restaurant and a boarding house, and Cocoa will be working there along with the owner's granddaughter, Chino and the strangely military-obsessed Rize. It's a great place to work, business is hopping, and Cocoa's fits right in with her new coworkers, as well as the girls from two other rival cafes. Still, there IS something just a little odd about the Rabbit House. Besides the fact that Rize usually carries a Glock and a knife hidden on her, there's also a mystery involving the shop's pet rabbit, Tippy. And then there are those girls who sometimes seem to be able to communicate without talking… The answer to these secrets may not always be hare-raising, but they're bound to keep Cocoa jumping as the fun never stops in IS THE ORDER A RABBIT?
Title: GUARDIAN NINJA MAMORU
Published by: Sentai Filmworks
Distributed by: Section23 Films
Run Time: 300 min.
Street Date: 7/21/2015
Format: DVD
Language: Japanese with English Subtitles
SRP: $49.98
SYNOPSIS: Like many high school students, Kagemori Mamoru is obsessed with a girl. Unlike most students, however, the main reason that Mamoru is so focused on Konnyaku Yuna is because his family has spent the last 400 years protecting her family from every kind of threat imaginable. (This is what happens when one of your ancestors swears a binding oath and you're a family of ninjas.) Unfortunately, Mamoru's job is made much more difficult by the fact that Yuna is incredibly clueless and accident prone, forcing him to work around the clock keeping his oblivious childhood friend from accidentally offing herself. And it's made doubly more difficult given that Mamoru has to perform his protecting duties in secret, so he has to pretend to be a lot less competent and skillful than he really is when not in full ninja garb. And just to make things absolutely impossible, the complexity level gets quintupled and escalates as the school inexplicably begins to fill with girls with various ninja and magical-type skills who seem to have their eyes on Mamoru himself! Study hall will never be the same as high school shenanigans collide with shurikens in Guardian Ninja Mamoru!
Title: PATLABOR 2: THE MOVIE
Published by: Maiden Japan
Distributed by: Section23 Films

Street Date: 7/21/2015
Format: DVD, BD
Language: English & Japanese with English Subtitles
SRP: $29.98, $39.98
SYNOPSIS: A rogue military jet bombs a Tokyo bridge. The city is in panic. But is it a real terrorist attack, the first stage of a coup, or the opening gambit of an even more Machiavellian plot? As the military attempts to take control and Martial Law is declared, the task of untwisting the complex web of secrets, lies, and betrayals falls to the convoluted mind of Captain Kiichi Goto. But when the Defense Forces have been turned against each other and government itself may be suspect, who can he depend on as his ground troops in a bid to pull the country back from the brink of oblivion? The men and women of the SV2 and their mobile force of Ingram patrol robots, of course. The grand climax of the Patlabor franchise is unleashed in the critically acclaimed second feature from director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost In The Shell, Avalon) - PAT PATLABOR 2 - THE MOVIE!

SYNOPSIS: As half of her school's very small digital camera club, Nao Ueshima is obsessed with taking photos. What's a bit unusual, however, is her favorite choice of subject: the sky. Unfortunately, when you spend all of your time looking up in the air, sometimes you lose track of where your feet are headed. As a result some very unusual things start to happen to Nao. Discovering a cat on top of her favorite rooftop one day, Nao is startled when it suddenly flies away on the wind. Flies, not falls! Even more startling, however, is what happens when Nao falls off the roof herself! Instead of being killed or hurt, Nao makes the most remarkable discovery: There are people who know how to control the flow of the wind! And one of them is one of her teachers! Suddenly school becomes much more interesting as Nao and her friends learn the secrets of everything from Air to Zephyr, and in between they'll also discover a lot about themselves as well.

Discovering a cat on top of her favorite rooftop one day, Nao is startled when it suddenly flies away on the wind. Flies, not falls! Final Message
This week we have shipped out the final packages from Creamy Mami 3-4 and Black Jack 2 to supporters. As you may have noticed, Anime Sols has not added any new projects for quite a while, focusing only on completing the goods which had already been funded. It saddens me to say that animesols.com will be shutting down on May 1st, 2015. The videos will remain up until for the next month if you would like to watch them. Thanks to everyone who pledged!
