I haven't seen any 2012 shows. I'm still catching up with stuff from the 1980s (World Masterpiece Theater, Mysterious Cities of Gold), 1990s (Brain Powerd), and 2000s (Peach Girl), to name a few.

Only watched Sword Art Online and am continuing to dig it (it's slowed down after the halfway point though).

Intended to watch Fate/Zero S2 and TariTari but didn't get around to it.

Anyway, Shin Sekai Yori is the best show of the year. Nothing else even matters.

My thoughts also about Sword Art Online, I watched a few other shows but "High School DxD","Hagure Yuusha no Estetica" and "Sword Art Online" was the best shows of 2012. "Bodacious Space Pirates", To LOVE-Ru Darkness, Busou Shinki, Sakurasou no Pet na Kano, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions, So I Can't Play H, OniAi, and Accel World, was other animes I watched.
