GRIMES, Iowa, December 1, 2011 – Right Stuf, Inc. and its Nozomi Entertainment division are pleased to announce two new lithographs featuring art from the anime series ANGEL BEATS! will be available on December 13, 2011.

The two pieces of artwork were selected by fans, during a recent public vote, and the response was so enthusiastic that – for the first time – Nozomi Entertainment will be releasing two prints from the same title simultaneously, said Right Stuf President and C.E.O. Shawne Kleckner.

Angel Beats! “Rivals - Angel and Yuri” depicts the series’ two lead heroines, while Angel Beats! “Graduation Day” features the series’ entire cast.

The full-color, limited-edition prints will be produced as lithographs on high-quality paper, which has archival properties and is specifically for the reproduction of artwork. Each print will be priced at $49.99, measure 20 by 16 inches, and include a certificate of authenticity. Only 250 total prints of each design will be made.

Angel Beats! is a 13-episode series from Jun Maeda (Clannad, Air, Kanon) that features direction by Seiji Kishi (My Bride Is a Mermaid), as well as production by P.A. Works and Aniplex. The anime series is available to North American audiences on both Blu-ray and DVD from Sentai Filmworks, which is distributed by Section23 Films.

Good point. Most of the prints I included were commissioned for art shows and galleries. The Neon one is an artist who was picked up by the Alamo Drafthouse recently to do a Kill Bill print, but the Neon piece he designed to sell himself.

The movie-print scene has exploded in recent years with some prints going for several thousand dollars. We got a thread on it in the Movie forum here:

Artists can be looked up here: http://expressobeans.com/ (The collectors database) if you ever are unsure of who is producing the work.

I've purchased two prints from him as was happy both times. Sadly his Akira work sold out awhile ago or I would have posted it too.
