Thanks, some of us really appreciate the advanced notice! I know sometimes blu-ray.com posts incomplete ads but anything helps. Nothing as good as the TV series sales this week.

What a great way to start of the new year! As long as I can hold off from buying that Barbie dvd, I don't think I'll be buying anything.

I'll be getting "The Final Destination" here with exclusive.
Granted, Wal-Mart and Best Buy could have their own exclusive.
I'm so damn anal.

I am defiantly buying Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on Blu-Ray. It has the best possible cast ever: ANNA FARIS, BILL HADER, and ANDY SAMBERG, what more can you ask for, maybe Kristen Wiig, but still. Its a pretty awesome movie. I need it to finish off my Anna Faris collection. I only need a couple of her movies left. And it includes a book! I wonder which book it is.

I'm wonder that too. The wording; "Excl. deluxe with comic book".
There is no deluxe edition of "The Final Destination". It makes me think that this is a two disc exclusive with comic. A similar thing happened for "Angels & Demons" - could be possible.

all the special editions and exclusives tarjay sells are labelled as "deluxe". sometimes the regular 2-disk special edition that is available everywhere is called a "deluxe" too.

Weekly comparison thread done. Looks like Target is cheapest this week on Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (all three versions), Final Destination 3D (both versions), and Chuck: The Complete Second Season (both versions).

i took a look at the deluxe version this morning. it appears to be a single disc release with the DVD-sized comic book packaged under the slipcover. the slipcover back didn't say anything about a second disc. i didn't buy it so i can't confirm 100%.
also, the Cloudy/Meatballs movie has the Target exclusive book on both DVD and BR releases.

YMMV, but there are a couple of the Baby Einstein titles that have "Buy 2 Save $10" coupons stuck to them, which gets you 2 Baby Einstein DVD's for $10.

I'm sitting on a mess right now, but I'll try to scan the cover in a few hours or so.
The comic is incomplete, it's part one of the mini-series, "Spring Break: Cancun". It centers on a college student, Carley - she and her friends are spending spring break in Mexico and to celebrate her birthday. Carley's premonition is of her birthday inside the hotel's restaurant; a gas leak becomes an explosion killing everyone. She has this vision on the flight to Cancun. Seeing a repeat of the events leading to her birthday she changes fate. After blowing her cake she make known her wish and asks them all to leave the hotel. She's the birthday girl and they do. The place blows up while our chracters are on the other side of the street. They decide to stay in Mexico to continue their holiday. As the subtitle to the comic goes, "Death Never Takes A Vacation".
If you're expecting kills, you're gonna be disappointed, the only one that happens is at the explosion. The comic ends with them watching the sunrise on the beach.
The last comic (from the former Circuit City) which was for the third film was a self-contained story, "Sacrifice". A fellow who saw his future and the deaths that surround him. He held on for months, dodging the Reaper and eventually giving up; hanging himself rather than see his family killed in a gas station fire - his final premonition.
