God, Jim Breuer was so damn funny on that show, I'm shocked and dismayed they did not dedicated a DVD to all his best performances.

Is there a comparable disc "of somebody else" that has good Breuer skits?

I used to have a VHS tape of "SNL - best of '95-'96," which featured the famous scene of "The Joe Pesci Show" where DeNiro and Pesci appear and beat the crap out of Breuer for poking fun at the Pesch. Is that on DVD anywhere yet? Hello-oo 21st century!!

Wasn't Breuer only on for like one season? You can't have a Best-of for that. That and all of his characters were the same.

Jim Breuer speaks so negatively about his time on SNL, its no wonder why they aren't putting out a DVD for him. Wasn't he only on for a year anyway?

Goatboy and Joe Pesci were definitely not the same character. I loved the Goatboy sketch, complete with 80's stars and Chris Katan as a scientist with an electric cattle prod.

Actually, he was on for three years. And I don't really see how that would matter anyway, considering that hosts have SNL best-of's, and they obviously were on less than one season's worth of episodes.

It's rather telling when a host can amass more good sketches for a DVD release than a series regular, although in the case of SNL, that's not too hard to do.

Yeah, because there's better quality skits to choos from. You could just mak a DVD of The Joe Pesci Show and that's all the "bes-of" you'll get. Even then, the only good ones were the ones with DeNiro/the real Pesci and Jim Carrey as James Stewart.

You also have to remember that when a guest host is on, they're in nearly all of the sketches. Cast members, unless they're top line, are lucky to be in half. And lets face it, Martin, Hanks, Baldwin and Walken all deserve the Best Of treatment.

But the bottom line is that the best of DVDs have gone to famous and popular cast members, or very famous guest hosts. Jim Breuer hasn't done much since SNL, and he wasn't exactly a top star while there.

I would enjoy a best of Jim Breuer SNL disc as well. He's mad funny. I listen to the Howard Stern show on Sirius almost daily and he's on with them about once a month it seems like. He's a great story teller as well.
