Just purchased my first one - Apocalypto!!!

Last year, I purchased a Borders gift card for my mom. She never got around to using it, so she gave it back to me when she heard that I was stopping by Borders today to use a 40%-off Rewards coupon. Thanks, mom!

Is it really necessary to include HD DVD in the thread title at this point? No more new releases are coming out for that format and frankly it might confuse new or prospective Blu-ray owners. We need to move on at some point.

Burn After Reading will arrive today from Amazon. I stopped in Target this morning and not only did they have Old School, but the regular price was $19.99, same as Amazon. I hope that trend continues.

Does it really hurt anything? People are still buying HD DVD's, and last time I checked, this forum was called HD Talk, not Blu-ray Talk.

Just because there are no new ones doesn't mean people aren't buying them.

My last Blu-ray acquisitions were presents for Christmas. My most recent purchases were HDDVD from Blockbuster.

Assault on Precinct 13 HD-DVD
Christmas Vacation HD-DVD
Battle OF The Bulge HD-DVD
Viva Las Vegas HD-DVD

Same here (for Firefly that is). I also ordered it online on Christmas Eve though because I wasn't sure if there would be that many copies available in store. Now trying to sell of my extra copy locally to make back the shipping! :P

I also picked up

- Total Recall for $9.99 (to complete my Paul Verhoeven BD collection of Black Book, Starship Troopers, and Robocop)
- Sweeney Todd for $6.97! (after $3 manufacturer's coupon on top of Wal*Mart's $9.97 Boxing Day price)
