Oh yeah been waiting for this one since it was announced. The Punisher for PS2 is still one of my favorite games.

Damn that looks tight for once I am kinda wishing that I had a PS3 . Also Stinger I am with you Punisher for the ps2 was very underrated that game was just plain old fun.

here is a rather in depth review. He gives it an 8/10, myself, I'd give it a 6/10. Great game? no way. Worth a $10 d/l? sure... we've all wasted money on worse I'm sure.

This game is pretty fun on the story mode, your basic "kill this many people in 10 minutes".
This game blows on the multi though. Very inconsistent, feels like it either takes one shot to kill someone or a whole clip.

The Punisher: No Mercy is a pretty bad game all around. The somewhat interesting upgrade mechanics don't help overcome the numerous problems: a super-short (and boring) single-player mode, laggy online play, almost complete lack of feedback when hitting someone, bland level designs, and a good deal more. There's just not really anything to like here, unfortunately.
3.0 Presentation
The story makes no sense and the single-player portion is only about 45 minutes long. Why can't you create an open custom online server?
4.5 Graphics
While it's housed in Unreal Engine tech, the art design is usually either bland or bad and the animation quality is pretty poor.
6.0 Sound
This is a big mixed bag. The weapons actually sound pretty good, but the voice work, especially the in-game comments, are terrible.
4.5 Gameplay
The upgrade and powers system is cool, but most everything else is poor. The level design is bland, the single-player missions are bad and the online is laggy.
4.0 Lasting Appeal
If you like to play boring games online, this is for you. Otherwise, don't bother.

People on CAG don't seem to like it, they said the single player is about a half hour long, and laggy multiplayer. I wanted to get this, but my "group" held off on the purchase.
