Man, I really enjoyed Max's solo, sad to see him go. Should have been Kupono tonight I think.

Kupono isn't a Hip-Hop dancer and his solo was sort of crap and he's a little effeminate is his moves. That said you're probably right in how the voting went I just disagree with Little C's motive. Ballroom really gets the short stick as far as the solo's go but I thought Max at least brought something to it.

Kupono sucks. I still think it's easier to go from ballroom to the other genres, so Max got the short end of the stick tonight. Now Kayla is stuck with a sucky partner in Kupono. Bah!

If Max had a better hairline, and was as good looking as past ballroom guys, he would have been the one to stay for sure.

I wonder if Max leaving this early means that the judges will keep Asuka a little longer to keep a ballroom dancer in the mix? I'm still waiting for Viotoli to be given the boot so that Asuka can be paired with a good dancer.

And a few tidbits from a reporter at the show... What You Didn't See:

• Caitlin's sister Megan held aloft a sign that said, "That's My Sister!" Megan's guy friend had a sign that read: "Caitlin's Dance Puts Me in a Trance." (So being hypnotized by a dance is...good?)

• From within the studio it was easy to hear that the crowd cheered the loudest for Phillip Chbeeb.

• During Ashley's farewell video, Kupono wiped away tears several times.

I agree with that. I guess they couldn't do it two weeks in a row, but they pretty much saved Asuka last week because she was the only ballroom girl, so it's kinda crappy to oust Max this week when he did everything that was asked of him. I mean, Ashley carried Kupono in their routine, and she was the one eliminated...

Weren't both of Shane's routines in the bottom three?

Jason, Jonathan, and Kupono all sort of blur together for me for some reason.

I don't know most of these people's names yet so reading these threads confuses me.

You know I think Shane is a good hip hop chereographer, but I thought his routines were really dull this week. I've been much more entertained with Napoleon and Tabitha's routines.

Not a surprise about Ashley, but Kupono deserved the boot way more than Max. I guess for some reason the judges thought he was a little more versatile than Max in other genres.

Was anyone shocked by Brian Friedman's new look. I recall he had long wavy/curly hair in season 1 when he was a judge. He was almost unrecognizable.
