Yeah, I watched it on the weekend, and the murder scenes were indeed brutal, damn! Overall a better film than I feared it would be. The performances were good, the aforementioned murder scenes were intensely realistic, and there was a decent amount of Mayhem music used. Some parts seemed a bit fictional, I don't know why it stuck out for me, but I kind of doubt the band was bopping around in a VW van with a "Mayhem" logo taped on the front of it.

Definitely enjoyed this film a whole lot more than I thought I would.
One of my absolute favorite things about the film is how Åkerlund depicts Metal fans. In my opinion, it's the closest anyone has really gotten.
Films such as The Devil's Candy (2015) & Deathgasm (2015) had Metal fans clearly depicted in them but they felt incredibly awkward, like caricatures.
