This show hasn't interested me at all. The wife loves it though. Wonder if Fox plans on releasing some older shows - at least ones filmed in HD.

Dollhouse - No; I may be in the minority, but i think this show is horrible

i dvr it and watch trying to see why people like it so much, but i don't get it

putting it on blu-ray doesn't seem economical imo

The past few episodes have been great.

And economical? WTF?

I'm buying this. Definitely. I haven't seen every episode and was intending on picking this up! If the season overall is good I'll start watching it weekly next season.

Episodes 6 and 7 have been great so if it finishes strong this season with the last 6 episodes I'll buy it.

Speaking of unrated.....who's that hot Asian chick? I constantly stare at her whenever I see her on.....

For some reason, this show seems like Grounghog Day - the series, except it isn't funny. And it doesn't have Bill Murray but hot chicks. Yet still I can't get into it....I think I prefer another Firefly.

Shes from Battlestar Galactica. I've never seen that show before but that'sd what others have said.

Not economical? I completely disagree. What Joss Whedon show hasn't been a hit on DVD? Yes, I understand this is Blu-ray, but the point is that Whedon has a very dedicated following that will buy absolutely anything he releases. I'd be a little surprised if Dollhouse doesn't have a better life on DVD/Blu-ray much like Firefly.

I don't know if we're talking about Sierra, but she was not on BSG.

The FBI dude is from BSG.

You mean Sierra? The actress is Dichen Lachman. She perplexes me as I feel she is the living embodiment of the Seinfeld Two-Face. Sometimes she looks incredibly hot and others just plain weird. Still, I enjoy oogling her when she's looking hot.

The show is a mess but it has been getting better. It's just been very slow and gradual improvement. Everyone blames Fox for how crappy the show is (and they sure have earned that assumption) but the problem also lies with Whedon. It's an interesting concept but he didn't think it through enough for it to make any sense. So it's really uneven.

I dunno if I'd get the BD. I'll have to see how the first season concludes to see how I feel about it overall.

Everytime I see her......I just.....dammit....I stare and think 'UGH - wife is sitting next to me!' So I tell her - "DAMMIT, NOW THAT IS ONE HOT PIECE OF ASS!"....dammit......

Second thought - I guess that show ain't all that bad...she's in it. Nice move Whedon!

And you're right, it just seemed like a damn mess to me, AND I would think it's the way whedon is trying to lay it all out. Nice to know it's getting better. Maybe I'll pay attention to plot on the next episode.

You must have missed the last one, where everyone was acting high. That was a thoroughly awful episode from start to finish. Badly written, directed, and especially acted. Certainly the worst of the show's run so far.

I have to agree. I'm a big Whedon fan, but this show doesn't feel fully baked. He needs to put this cookie back in the oven.

It's not a terrible show in general, and it kind of has a germ of a neat idea in there. But the characters just aren't very interesting (especially Echo), and Dusku is too limited of an actress to pull off what's required of her every week.

Wheden has also failed to explain why any of the Dollhouse's clients would want to use their services for anything other than sexual fantasy. Why would you program a doll to be a hostage negotiator instead of hiring a real hostage negotiator who actually has experience and knows what they're doing? Every week, it feels like they're stretching to come up with things for her to do other than just be a whore.

Would be nice to have some Dushku in HD, but I only watched the first two episodes & they were soooo boring. And I'm a Whedon fanatic.

Still may pick it up just for Dushku if there is a good deal on it though.

Here is an obligatory pic, that I recently framed.

I have watched the show haven't really gotten into it but hey Elisha Dushku so of course I am buying. I wonder if this show will last longer than Tru Calling. Personally I would rather have that show back on the air.

Yeah dont expect to see this show back after next weeks finale.

a longtime friend of mine (i grew up with) was a camera man on this show, and he was informed he was free to look for work on another show or feature about a week and a half ago.

There are 6 episodes left I think. Keep in mind the show has already wrapped so its not a shock to have them look for another job while a potential Second Season is still 3 months away from even being started (S1 was picked up for 13 episodes only). I hope the show gets picked up but this is Fox. We need to have 6 hours a week of American Idol.

There actually are 5 more episodes running through May 15th. You sure you're not thinking of Terminator?
