Got this yesterday. Have yet to pop in a disc, but it does say 16 x 9 Aspect Ratio on the back

Really? I didn't think anyone liked that one. I really like Andy Richter, but it was hard to make it through an episode of Quintuplets (eye candy aside that is).

I can't speak for the release, but I watched all of the episodes when they were on HDNet last year and this show most certainly holds up. I think I had only watched a few episodes when it was originally on and I don't think I appreciated it then. Great show.

My only criticism of the set (other than the music changes, though I don't remember enough about the episodes to know what has changed) is that they put the episodes in broadcast order, rather than production order. It's mostly not a big problem so far, but the 2nd episode (which is called "Second Episode") is shown 4th, and it introduces characters (the neighbors) that had already appeared. It also rolls back the relationship between Andy and Wendy. It's pretty awkward. The DVD cases show the production order numbers, so you can watch it in the correct order if you don't mind jumping around.

I got it on Tuesday and have had a chance to watch 5 episodes. It definitely holds up for me; I haven't seen it since it originally aired on Fox, so I don't remember that much, but I'm really enjoying it.

No, the entire order is pretty screwed up; for example, the 3rd produced episode is on Disc 2, the 8th produced episode isn't until Disc 3, etc. Watching the series in its original intended order would require quite a bit of disc switching.
I haven't watched far enough to determine if this order screws up the ongoing plot (other than the already mentioned problem with the 2nd episode), since the episodes are mostly standalone other than some development between the characters (especially between Andy and Wendy).
So far, the most distracting thing about the episode order is the characters' hairstyles bouncing back and forth on an episode to episode basis.
