A much better slate from Warner then the action crap from October (Gauntlet, Eraser) IMO.

aside from 2010 the remaining nine to me are just blah.

Warner's just release 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', 'Excalibur', and 'Grand Prix' and I'd be a happy camper.

I agree with Excalibur. They just need to do a nice anniversary edition and put it in the proper OAR.

I'll get American History X for sure. The Wedding Singer I might get eventually.

In any case I will wait for the prices on these titles to drop.

Disappointing list for me but I will get American History X and maybe 2010 even though it is a huge drop-off from Kubrick's film..

Not too excited about this list. I'll definitely pick up American History X at some point when I can find it for a good price. Out of the rest, the only maybe would be 2010.

As I said in the announcements thread, my head nearly exploded from excitement upon hearing Tango & Cash was on its way. A guilty, guilty and awesome pleasure. Rambo and Snake Plissken in the same movie!!

Will buy American History X upon hearing that it appears to have some new extras.

Stupid question: What's the point of " Blu-ray release announcements" sticky if they all inevitably get their own thread anyway?

Anyway, never mind the threadcap.

American History X and Tango & Cash for me.

The way I look at it is this, all day & date titles and the big catalog title announcements deserve their own thread. And then smaller announcements go in the general thread. I posted this same info in that thread because for me, it wasn't an important announcement.

People are free to create a specific thread if they choose to, there's nothing wrong with that. The generic announcements thread is a good way for those who want to see a rundown of what's been announced recently, as opposed to searching for numerous titles in separate threads.

Hmm, I imagine none of these titles with have lossless audio if they're being cranked out on BD-25s.

It's possible to put a sub-2 hour film on a BD-25 with Lossless Audio. Hey, look at RocknRolla.

FWIW: New Warner coupon code WBRND8 gives 30% off and free shipping on orders over $50 - and all 10 of these (plus others coming out before these) available for pre-order. They are priced at $23.45, so about $16.41 after applying the coupon.

This is the only movie on the list that really made me excited, a couple of others I'll likely get, but this is the one must-own for me. But why on earth is this a "guilty guily" pleasure? Liking High School the Musical is a "guilty" pleaure. There is something wrong if you are embarrased about like a movie starring Jack Burton & Rambo.
