this is available on demand via IFC if anyone is interested. apparently it's dubbed in english though. i might check it out tomorrow.

I just saw this in an indie theater here, great experience. Movie was better than I hoped.

Just got in my R2 copy in the mail today.

I'm just hoping this movie isn't as bad as some of my friends told me it was.

This movie was a one-hitter, in my opinion. I enjoyed watching it, but no need to watch again.

Underwhelming. As a straight-up zombie flick, it fails on every conceivable level. The zombies run, talk, fight rather than bite, think, climb trees, headbutt, and throw haymakers. It might just as well be a band of criminals looking for the gold rather than zombies. I've read that it's intended to be a horror comedy, but there was nothing funny. Except for the scene where a hot girl has sex with a fat guy in an outhouse immediately after he has taken a shit. And for added guffaws, she sucks the fingers of the hand with which he has just wiped his ass. I'm not joking.

Oh a blumpkin would have been better.

I saw this a few weeks ago. Not bad, but not great. The ending was kinda trippy so that was cool.

Yea, that was a weird scene.

Anyway agreed for the most part with these reviews. Not sure why it's being sold as a zombie movie when the "zombies" don't act like them at all. They just look like zombies. They use weapons, they throw punches, etc. You can kill them with gunshots to the chest. They should have been called Nazi monsters rather than zombies. And why did they use a growling lion as a sound effect for the monsters?

I guess the action scenes were entertaining enough. The fat guy getting his head pulled apart was cool. The two guys using equipment from the tool shed, including a chainsaw, against a group of the monsters was fun. Some good kills.

I did think it was hilarious when the guy gets bitten and he saws off his arm and cauterizes the wound, he's standing there laughing, all proud that he's not going to get infected but a monster pops out of the snow beneath him and bites his junk.

There are worse ways to spend 90 minutes, but I was underwhelmed to say the least.

Grade: C

It's all in the marketing. I didn't really have a problem with that chick banging the dude and licking his figures in the outhouse. Kinky is good.

I just saw this it was okay, although I know the movie was a dumb horror flick I wondered how the zombie's weapons still worked after being in cold temperatures for like fifty years that gun power would have dried out by now.

I thought it would've been funny if you heard a plop in the toilet bowl while he was having sex. Missed opportunity.
