As much I as like the convenience of online shopping, that's one advantage to B&M shopping. I have done that more than once, and feel no guilt about it, when the PM policy period is less than the return period, either from one store or another. Last year for a Christmas present I bought something at the store, it dropped in price 10 days later, I couldn't PM, so I bought the new one and immediately returned it with my old receipt. Done the same with different stores too. I can't resent them for making a policy and enforcing it, but they can't resent me for using the policies either.
