This decade is 10 times worse than the 80's.

Seriously speaking...the 80s was the decade for Action. We're never going to pop out with as much stuff like that ever. I mean we had fucking icons for the genre. Yes, none of them will ever be remembered beyond being part of the genre for the most part.

I highly doubt this decade is worse than the 80s.

I miss Arnie, but his last few flicks were getting boring..i.e. Eraser and Last Action Hero. True Lies was his last great actioner, but even that was a bit drawn out by the end. My personal favorites are the super corny Arnolds - Commando, Red Heat, Raw Deal. Those I can watch anytime. Especially Raw Deal, just a classic. Joseph P. Brenner. Don't ask what the P stands for.

I really need to see "Raw Deal", the only one of his action movies I have never seen.

Politics and film aside, what about fashion? The 80s were an eyesore! Mullets, acid-washed jeans, shoulder pads, and parachute pants? Come on, now.

I still want True Lies on bluray, I have been watching Terminator 2 recently. I forgot how good a movie it really is. I think Arnold is too old now for the action movie genre, But Stallone is still around, and Jason Staham fits the bill pretty good for mindless action flicks.

Fashion was pretty terrible in the 1980's. I remember not wanting to wear jeans because fashion was heavily towards tight jeans. Today's "retro 80's" style makes me remember how much I hated 80's fashion.

I still enjoy quite a few 80's movies despite not liking the decade in general.

Ah-nuld's movies were better (and more violent) back in the 80's. I kinda miss that silly action movie excessive violence.
