NOVEMBER 24th
1. The Santa Clause - *** This one is starting to show its age, however, it's still on heavy rotation and I can't quite get enough of this silliness.
2. Bad Santa - **1/2 Rude, crass and hilarious. I picked this up on BD some time ago and decided that it was time to break open the case.

NOVEMBER 30th
3. A Christmas Story - **** Youth and good old-fashioned movies. We have this on heavy rotation as well.
4. Miracle on 34th Street (1994) - ***1/2 Not quite as heart-wrenching as the original, but throughly enjoyable.
5. Miracle on 34th Street (1947) - ****Outstanding feel good movie. My family prefers this version, but there's only one Kris Kringle.

December 1st
6. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (Live-Action) - ** I'm still not sure why I subject myself to this one each year, but it may be because the kids think it's hilarious.....

December 10th
7. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (Classic animated) - **** The kids found the grinch funny looking! A great classic, I find myself quoting it to my mother.

December 23rd
8. A Christmas Carol - **** This is the first year that I haven't been able to see this at our local theatre, however, this more than made up for not seeing it locally. True holiday classic!
9. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - - 1/2 * Once upon a time, I found this fairly amusing...that's no longer the case.

December 24th
8. It's a Wonderful Life (x2) - **** I can always count of this one to pull on the heart strings. It's still making its rounds in the background, we can't get enough of old George.
9. The Year Without Santa Claus - *** What's Christmas Eve without the slight scare that Santa has retired?
10. Robbie the Reindeer - **
11. A Spongebob Christmas - **
12. The Polar Express - *** Once I trained my eyes to accept the CGI, this was very entertaining (on SD DVD).

December 25th A Rankin-Bass Day
13. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - **** These have become a family tradition and never get old.
14. Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town - ****
15. Frosty the Snowman - ****
16. Frosty Returns - **
17. The Little Drummer Boy - ***

December 26th
18. Die Hard - **** After a day of sugary-sweet movies, we needed to regroup with more adult fare.
