Being one of my all-time favorite movies, the DVD's branching always annoyed me because it wasn't timed right in some scenes, and aside from that most of the additional scenes are useless, but just fine on that DVD and watching them on BD would be a waste. Theatrical cut all the way.

I'll agree it's not worth waiting for but I've never had any problems with the branching issue. For me it's really just a case of limited funds and a whole crapload of movies. I love movies on BD and find myself rewatching a Hi-def disc before I'll put in an SD disc. I just watch the double and triple dips. With plenty of movies to pick up every week I try to limit the replacements of the multi-disc super deluxe SE packages. One day I may run across a used BD ID4 for $10 and I'd grab it in a minute. As far as Pearl Harbor and DH4 goes, I would wait for the R rated cut on both of those. It's what make PH watchable and what keeps DH4 from being ridiculous.
