Prison Break -- "Blow Out" -- 9/29/08

Prison Break S4

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

After successfully transcribing the fourth card at an L.A. racetrack, Mahone is arrested---with the transcribing device on him---for being in a restricted area (and for punching a cop). Meanwhile, the Company hones in on Don Self; T-Bag's boss at GATE finds more "irregularities" in his sales reports; and Gretchen surfaces at her sister's tidy suburban home.

I will watch it just for the secretary. Good thing my girlfriend will have it recorded on DVR so I can watch those specific clips over and over again in all its glory. I think they should do a subplot based on her so she can get more exposure.

This season gets better and better with each episode. I thought this week was great! Looks like Susan B and T-bag will be working together!

I agree...this show is awesome this year. Funny that I look forward to this more than Heroes and Sarah Connor.

I also felt like this episode had a serious Oceans 11 feel to it.

Still great none-the-less.

Great episode. I'm also getting an Ocean's 11 vibe.

Looking forward to next week in Las Vegas.

Gretchen was at the morgue collecting Whistler's stuff right?

How many cardholders are left? 2?

I liked Mahone's phone conversation at the end with the assassin. Very well done, (except for the casually tossing of the phone number in the trash can).

Given the choice, I picked to watch this live in HD and record "Heroes" on the DVD recorder and watch it later in 4:3. While "Heroes" would benefit more from the HD viewing, I felt more interested in watching "PB".

I was a bit worried about Mahone for a while there since
Spoiler:
William Fichtner has a new drama pilot for 2009 and thought they might kill him off here
.

On a side note, saw the "Transporter 3" trailer with Robert Knepper this weekend. Love Statham, looked great!

There is a rumor on another message board that Prison Break will end for good after episode 13 since the ratings have been so low.

I'd be very upset. I hope it at least makes it to the end of the season.

I would prefer 22 episodes since we got short changed last season, but considering how much filler and stretching they would need to do with this season's story arc to fill 22 episodes, it might not be a bad thing to have them write episode 13 as a series finale.

I would hate to see them end the series on a short season. Fox loves to give up on shows that dip in ratings cough the OC cough. They are idiots if they pull the plug on PB after 13 esipodes.

I got in late last night, and could watch either PB or Heroes first on the DVR, and I surprised myself by choosing PB, but it was after I saw last week's 2-hour premiere of Heroes which dampened my viewing enthusiasm for that show. At least with PB, you get the feeling they are making some headway through this final season. On Heroes, I feel they are just making stuff up along the way, and my viewing experience leaves me underwhelmed (which it did last night as well), so PB is going to get priority viewing from me on the Mondays that it's on (though no telling how the baseball playoffs will mess with Fox's schedule in October).

I was disappointed with the choice of shirt by T-Bag's secretary.

I'll be bummed if they don't give this show the proper send off. While I thought it could have ended after Season 2, they better give this a full season to take out the Company.

I liked the human side of Gretchen as well....the fact that she has a daughter and isn't just a cold hearted bitch.

Excellent episode. Let the show run out it's full 22 and end gracefully
