Speed Racer's Wonderful World Of Racing: The Amazing Racer Family

Just picked this up from Target. It is approximately 31 Minutes long. The first half is mockumentary style, and has the entire cast being interviewed in character, as well as providing a backstory to the entire movie. The second half is a behind-the-scenes look at the movie and filming; it also includes cast and crew interviews. For $10, it was definitely a good buy...not to mention it came with a free movie ticket to see Speed Racer, which I had planned on anyway. So this was really a good deal...if you are looking forward to the movie, I would definitely suggest picking this up.

I'm not sure what you are asking...but I bought the Target Exclusive DVD, not the Next Generation DVD. I don't even know what The Next Generation is...I prefer old-school Speed Racer.

The Target DVD is great though, definitely a good buy if you are looking forward to the movie.

Got 2 tickets in mine as well. Something must've been seriously FUBAR'd at the duplication/packaging stage of production...

If anyone is interested in picking this DVD up, I suggest checking your local Target immediately. I checked 3 Targets yesterday and they all were gone. Finally one worker told me they were "discontinued", but that they still had some in the back (?).

She went and got me one and I asked about why they took them off the shelves. She told me that they were discontinued and were sending them back to the distributor on Thursday (tomorrow).

When I opened mine I also got 2 tickets. This must have been a serious screw up and the reason why they are being sent back. Being that the movie did not do as expected and that the merchandise is selling poorly, they are losing even more with 2 movie passes and a DVD for $10.
