10$ 1st seasons at Costco: American Dad, Dharma and Greg, more, YMMV

I was at the Costco at Cranberry PA today and saw stocks of first-season DVDs discounted to 9.99$:

- American Dad
- Anything but love (90s show with Jamie Lee Curtis)
- Dharma and Greg
- Malcolm in the middle
- St. Elsewhere
I think there was something else.

Costco pricing on games and DVDs is usually nationwide, so it might be worth checking. However, since I haven't confirmed it elsewhere, it's YMMV.

Yup, my local Costco had all of those too. The only one I picked up was The Bob Newhart Show. I already own Dharma & Greg, and Anything But Love, or I would have grabbed those too.

St. Elsewhere, in particular, is an amazing deal, for 22 hour-long episodes. I'm not interested in owning it, but if I were, I'd snatch it up at that price!

I picked up American Dad (I think I'm the only person in the world who actually likes that show), and anything but love (fond memories of it from my early early teens, plus I like Jamie Lee Curtis in her pre-sexy days).

I saw Newhart as well, forgot about that one.

I think I'll get Dharma and Greg. Great price. Malcolm is a good show too.

Just to be thorough, we've been talking about these for a few weeks in the general costco DVD thread .

I'm not saying this thread wasn't needed, just thought someone here might be interested in helping us keep one thread constantly updated with the weekly changes in Costco prices and inventory.

I highly recommend Dharma & Greg. Great show.

I'd avoid Anything But Love, even at that price. The show has not aged well at all.

Damn, sorry about that. I realize now that when I did the search, I did it on the "search review" thing on the top, (how do I search the forum?)

It may be different on different browsers of if you're not signed in, but for me, the search button is in the blue bar near the top of the page, towards the right.

I usually click down into the advanced search, and search thread titles only, and all forums. But you can do a lot of things on that search page. You pretty much need to use words of 4 letters or more.

Agreed, two of the best shows in television history.

For those picking up Dharma & Greg Season 1 (excellent choice by the way) I wanted to mention you can get Season 2 from Ezydvd in Australia. I just recently ordered it and should be here in the next week or so. Its been almost 2 years since season 1 came out and I doubt we'll see another Region 1 release of D&G.
