I picked the wrong month to refrain from buying movies. Otherwise, I'd pick up Die Hard and Rescue Dawn in a heartbeat.

I had Edward Scissorhands in my cart and I am struggling to find a second movie. I might as well just pass as a Fry's BOGO is almost guaranteed for Tuesday anyway. Ugh. All the other movies are going for $10-$15 on eBay due to all the recent BOGOs, so its tough to even find a movie I could resell and break even.

I don't see Edward Scissorhands in the titles in the link. Are you sure you can get that one?

I went ahead and ordered Die Hard and Die Hard 3. I would get 2, but I'm waiting to see what they're going to do about the lack of DTS-HD MA. I can't decode that kind of track yet, but I'd like it to be there when I can.

Well, I couldn't get Cast Away to work. It must be too new. I still got the 2 Die Hards, Edward, and The Fly. Nice deal!

You should know that just from the thread title. Fox has an absurd MSRP structure for Blu-ray. That said, ~$14 per movie is a decent deal for many of those $27.99 titles.

Its not listed, but it works. Castaway does NOT work sadly.

Grabbed Edward and Ice Age 2. I couldnt think of any other movie since I have either owned them all in the past thanks to Fry's BOGO, or they just are not my type of movie. Hopefully Ice Age 2 will be good.

I've been checking out the BD and HD DVD reviews on DVD Talk (and other review spots) on these BOGO titles, and it's helped convince me not to order some of these BOGO titles. I decided against the Terminator on BD after reading the review on DVD Talk.

This deal rocks! Thank you Amazon!
I made three orders of two each to maximize my discounts:

The Fly
The Devil Wears Prada
The Day After Tomorrow
Speed
Ice Age 2
AVP (after I confirmed that it DOES have the 108 minute unrated version)

All those for $68.85, no tax and free shipping, an average of 11.48 for 39.99 MSRP titles! Those of you with the 10% discount (which I unfortunately do not get) would come out even better! Man, it's like Xmas for me a week early since I was had been hoping someone other than Fry's and their super high shipping costs would have this deal....if I didn't already have the Die Hards and X3 I would have grabbed those too!

Picked up Robocop, The Sentinel, Edward Scissorhands, and Broken Arrow (guilty pleasure) with this deal and the DVDSAVE5 code.

I'm never purchasing a Blu-ray or Hd-dvd on release day ever again!!!

I could not find a review of the Blu-ray on DVD Talk, but there was this one on "another" site that states the following:

"Note, however, that Fox has included both the Unrated and PG-13 Theatrical versions of 'Alien vs. Predator.'"

The thing about that though is there are technically 3 cuts of the movie. If you look at the DVDTalk review of the original DVD release, it talks about how the movie is essentially the same as the theatrical but with a small prologue added. Meanwhile, the 108 minute cut was new to the 2-disc Unrated DVD.

This couple with the fact that the Blu-Ray box art states 101 minutes makes me believe the Blu-Ray does not include the extra footage incorporated into the film for the 2-disc Unrated version.

I'm going to pop my Blu-Ray in tonight and see what the actual runtime is.
