I'm not very impressed with some of those prices. I saw some of those $20 DVDs at Best Buy for $9.99 a little while ago.

Isn't Heat SE OOP? If you don't already have it, I guess it is a decent deal. You could also add the 10% off code to make it better.

Looks like the sale hasn't started, but even when it does 40% off won't be that great. These go on sale all the time at Best Buy for 9.99 or two-for-20.

As I've said in the past, you can't expect a great price just because DD says X% off, because that percentage is usually off the MSRP - which is a price that practically no one charges.

Even when the sale starts (if it hasn't already), it won't be impressive. I get these from Columbia House for 49 cents, god bless 'em.

Yeah, but that can't beat the Best Buy B1G1 mix-up! 6 movies for $30 (making them $5 a piece) plus free tickets to see 300!

I wish the Maltese Falcon (2 disc) were included. Hence, it looks like this will be on my wishlist until the next 20% off sale.

That'd be quite a trick considering there's no such thing. The Maltese Falcon is a three disc set -- one for the movie, one for the older adaptations of the book, and one for the special features.

But there are several SEs that never get included in these sales -- Ryan's Daughter and The Dirty Dozen being the biggies.

Well, it seems weird that some of these are $9.98 and the rest are $18 and change. Why not show us just the $9.98 titles? I don't see how you can consider the other ones on sale.

That said, I might pick up the Million Dollar Baby 3-disc for $9.98 since that's not an enrollment title at Columbia House and it's never cheap there plus I missed out on that one during the BB sales.

The $9.98 prices are decent, but the rest are terrible.

Isn't "True Romance" one of the Warner titles getting its MSRP slashed to $15. And I think a few others are getting re-released ("Magnolia"?).
