Blood Diamond/Syriana

The deal on Blood Diamond , can you get Syriana for $2.99 with the 2-Disc or just the 1?

Great buy. I didn't think the GOY edition would ring up for $13.99, but it did. Glad I held out.

I hate my CC. I went there to get Eragon 2-disc with free lithograph. I was holding the Special Edition in my hand, I put it down on the counter and said, "Can I have the free lithograph?" And she says, "Do you want the special edition or the regular?" So, I said, "Neither. I have the special edition right here. I'm purchasing that....I want the free lithograph." I swear, I almost laughed right in her face when she came out with, "We're not offering lithographs with that movie. If we were, don't you think it would be in the ad?" What she said would've made me just downright laugh in her face if she didn't say it with SUCH an attitude, as if I didn't know what I was talking about. So, I flipped to the page in the ad and said, "It's right here. And you're a real pathetic worker if it's 8 o'clock on a Tuesday, this movie has been out for a whole day and you STILL haven't figured out that the store YOU work in is offering a free lithograph." Walked out, walked down to Target and bought it there. The lithograph isn't worth dealing with the attitude in that store. Nothing is worth it. CC sucks. At least mine does..

I am amazed that Circuit City has stayed in business as long as they have. I have been in a dozen different CCs, and every single one of them is amazingly disorganized and clueless about their own promotions.

That said, some of the employees are friendly, and since they are next door to other stores I frequent, I do still shop there sometimes. I just walk in expecting to be disappointed.

I mainly use them for their ads, to get the CC price minus 10% at BB.

I'll use the Best Buy $5 off any 360 game coupon and get it for $8.99. Thanks Speedy!

While asking at the Burlington MA store today about a new release I didn't see,
I was told that the only releases that come out each week were the ones shown
in their flyer.

My local CC ran our of lithographs at 11am this morning. Sure. Just moved to Spokane and I sure miss my OKC CCs. They always had the promotions.

So BB got my money, and the kids are happy with the UNO cards. So all is well.

since you're in NoVa you really believe the Fairfax location is as bad as the Fair Lakes Best Buy? they always have a great promo section and have some of the best customer service.

They do seem friendly there. But, like every CC, I find the store incredibly disorganized. And where is this promo section? I can find the promos there sometimes (either at the main customer service counter or at one the media section cubicles), but usually, they are fairly clueless when I ask for the bonuses.

FYI My CC had the 2-disc Minority Report in the 2 for $12 bin. It was even marked with a $9.99 price tag. I picked up that and Cinderella Man (though i already have it).

CC SUCKS! The ad is 100% misleading. The 2-Disc "Blood Diamond" shows on sale at 22.99, but i was told by a CSR on the phone that it was "In Store Only" pricing...although it doesn't specify that anywhere in the ad (unless i missed some fine print somewhere)....

I don't live near a store and wanted to order the SE for 22.99 and get Syriana for 2.99 with it.....oh well....

f&*k 'em!!!!
