Target Prices: January 21 - January 27, 2007

HI DVDTalkers!

Got the Target circular for 1/21/07 - 1/27/07 in my hands.

Please be aware of the following:
  • All DVD prices listed are advertised as Available Tuesday 1/23/07
  • Suspected Low Price is listed in parenthesees
  • Memorex Digital DVD Recorder // Records in DVD+R / RW format // Model MVDR2100 >>>>> $98.76
  • Aiptek Camcorder / Camera // Functions as a digital MPEG-4 camera and a 5 megapixel digital camera // Model ISDV2 >>>> $88.88
  • Kodak 256 MB SD media card >>>> $12.88
  • GAMERS: The Wii Gaming System is in the ad this week (Page #6) >>>> $249.99
  • From time to time special deals / prices will be listed in the Store Notes Section & the in the product price thread that may or may not be available in your specific geographic area. This is due to Regional Market Variations of the nationwide ads that I post and as such, not all deals / prices will be available in all Target stores. Please note that this version of the Target ad originates in the Northeast.

As always, ask any questions and I'll respond as soon as I can.

I must apologize to those that have been asking me questions about the ads I posted lasted week. I was unable to answer due to a (minor) family emergency which meant I had to return home rather suddenly last Wednesday. I did not think to bring the ads with me. Hopefully you've all used the online ad option today to answer the questions that you posted. If not feel free to e-mail me and I'll look them up.

As for the Circuit City ad for 1/21 - 1/27, I did not find it in my mailbox and so I'll have to search for it on Monday.

Thanks for understanding.......

Speedy1961

Thanks a(nother) million, speedy! Hopefully the 21st will be the day I can finally get a Wii, if not sooner.

FYI - I posted a link to this thread over in the FatWallet forums inside the Wii Availability thread.

It's definitely a different cover.

The regular cover shows the image I used above.

The Deluxe one shows 3 shackles instead of teeth.

Thanks for letting me know.

When I get the other 2 ads I'll post about the Wii's presence or lack thereof.

Any news on a "Saw", "Saw II" or "Saw III" HD-DVD or Blu-Ray release?

OK Kids..... you heard it from me FIRST.....

The Wii game system is featured in both the Best Buy / Circuit Ads for this timeframe.

Details (if any) will be listed in the weekly threads that I'm starting.

Catch ya' all later.

Thank you, Speedy, I always appreciate the early heads-up. With the Wii actually being in the ad, does this mean it's a guaranteed in-stock item, or that I could get a raincheck to guarantee I get one the next time it is in stock if I miss it this time around, etc.? I'm thinking it's time to grab it.

I ask particularly since the CC ad has so many caveats to having them in-stock next week.

Thanks for posting the ad Speedy.

Question on the Wii. I see that all three of the big boxes are going to have it on Sunday, but CC is the only one where you mentioned the 'show up early for ticket' thing. Does that mean the other two are simply first come first served? Also, does the Target ad mention any per store minimums?

I already plan on showing up a few hours early, but would like to have an idea what my chances are if I'm number 20 in line. (Fortunately, my closest Target and Best Buy in the same strip mall so it doubles my chances)

David
