It's good that I never saw promos for this episode because I assume the CBS promo said something about someone dying. They always try to throw curveballs with those promos.

The hispanic ADA was a pretty superfluous character, so he won't really be missed, plus it might move Henry Simmons up to regular status, which would be good.

Yeah Red Dog, they were touting that they will "lose one of their own" in the ep.

And like you said, I won't miss him.

The ep was good... and the best thing about it is that they left his daughter out of it for once.

Methinks she was off somewhere having sex with her boyfriend.

Seems kinda strange that they would kill off the Hispanic character on a show set in LA - I'd thought it would more likely have been Casey (the superfluous white guy) or Henry Simmons ("guest starring" credit and superfluous black guy), thus insuring PC racial and gender balance. Shows how much I know.

But we already have a "superfluous hispanic guy" as the mayor.

Do y'all remember him from Stargate (as Skaara)?:

I would have voted for Casey to be gone but I guess they want to keep that silly storyline with him and Sarah Carter's character.

Just watched this and I'm not happy. Why couldn't they kill Casey instead?
