the best code to join with is 613005
(4 free)

member codes:
it would be helpful when posting codes to specify:
(1) whether your account is fulfilled (b2g1 free and free shipping codes are typically only for fulfilled accts)
(2) expiration date

I need help please. 1st time thinking of the Disney Club.

Where do I input the join code?

What is the average price per dvd?

Do they often have specials to reduce that average?

Are there titles available for joining that aren't featured on the join site?

Etc. etc... I tried to find the "old" disney thread and couldn't find it. Any help is greatful. Thanks.

When I joined it took me a while to find it so to make it easy click this link

What is the average price per dvd?
5 free
1 @ $15.95 counts as a fulfillment
1 @ $9.95
4 left to fulfill account @ $19.95+S&H
average cost $10.51 (if you make one order to fulfill account with no deal)

In looking at the cost of a dvd they range from 19.95 to $21.95

Do they often have specials to reduce that average?
So far I haven't made a fulfillment from what I can tell the only dvds that count are those that are $19.95 or more. I have had a couple of codes that will count towards fulfillments: buy 2 get 1 at 50% off and another for free shipping on your order.

Other codes (I assume that these codes will not count towards fulfillments because it will drop below $19.95):
20% off order
15% off and free shipping

Are there titles available for joining that aren't featured on the join site?
Don't know

I think it would even though the discount would bring the price below the $19.95 threshold. I bought 3 selections with a similar code recently and I'm assuming they did indeed count toward my fulfillment -- which I recently completed.

When it does not count toward fulfillment, it would expressly say that in the small print. Such as ...discounted titles do not count towards your purchase agreement. They usually include that clause in sales such as Buy 1 and get 15% OFF additional selections.

When I recently fulfilled my purchase agreement, I used the 10% OFF with FREE Shipping code -- that I was e-mailed. My deadline for the 5 commitment titles was earlier this month. I'm assuming that they did count toward my purchase agreement as I have yet to hear anything whereas I still need to complete it.

My VIP membership is supposed to begin 30 days after making my required purchases.

Thanks Jane and all!!! Getting my calculator out and do some figuring. Usually I was doing the 3 for $25 deal at bb to get disney items, but that's gone now and it's 2 for $20. If I'm paying the same price, I'd rather buy new, instead of "previewed".

where would it say it? I was going to use the 15% off and free shipping to make a couple of fulfillments.

I received the same offer in an e-mail the other day and the details are:

* Valid for standard shipping of online orders only. Multipacks, merchandise, CDs and online Club Deals are not included. Offer ends May 22, 2006. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or rebate.

I'm not sure if you had to receive this e-mail in order for the code to work. Seems like a good deal to me -- and it's only valid 'til May 22.

Just today I received the latest club mailing and it states that I still need to purchase 5 movies at $19.95 (or above) in order to complete my agreement. This is as of 4/12/06 and I know that I ordered 3 selections that were shipped on 3/31.

There could be a delay in them updating my account to reflect my more recent purchases. I'll be calling them later just to verify.

I just called them and it seems that the 3 movies I used the 10% discount on did not count toward my purchase agreement. I ordered 2 more in April but only had a FREE shipping code. Those did count.

The CSR I talked to told me that they could adjust the price of the 3 discounted selections and I was charged about $6. This brings them back to their original non-sale price and now they will reflect 3 purchase commitments.

So now I am a VIP member.

It seems that any discounted titles do not count towards your membership agreement. I'm glad I was able to clear this up before I was hit with a $60 charge for not completing my required purchases.

Maybe they changed the terms of membership, but discounted selections counted towards my fulfillment. My understanding was that each selection (discounted or not) had to be at least $19.95 (after discount) to count.

BTW, 74510 - free shipping and 20% off entire order (exp. 5/22/06).

I think that as long as the discounted price is over $19.95, it will still count as fulfillment. For example, a $30 title is $24 with 20%, that should count as a fulfillment.

Ok, I understand what you mean -- BUT -- suppose you bought a $30 title with an online offer and it stated that you would get 20% OFF additional titles and furthermore it has the clause, *discounted selections will not count towards your purchase agreement.

Wouldn't that mean that if you added another $30 title @ 20% OFF it should not count?

The 3 discounted movies I purchased were $21.95 discounted by 10% and that brought them to $19.76. Couldn't they just adjust my total upward by 19 cents and bring it to $19.95? Instead they just dismissed the entire 10% discount and I was back to paying $21.95.

Thanks all for the info. How often does a B2G1F become available? Can this be used to fulfill an account?

Free shipping code when you buy 2 movies at regular price: 74815
Expires: 6/12

*Order two movies at regular price (must be $14.95 or more for VHS and $19.95 or more for DVD) and receive shipping at no charge on your order. Valid for standard shipping of online orders only. Multipacks, merchandise, CDs and online Club Deals are not included. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, or rebate. Offer ends June 12, 2006.

This is good to use for the $19.95 titles so they'll still count for fulfillments.

I just checked and it's finally up on the site along with Howl's Moving Castle and Whisper of the Heart.

But I don't know if you're asking if they're available as enrollment titles, which it looks like of the three, Totoro is the only one that's not available as an enrollment. Or at least, I can't find it.

I am also interested in My Neighbor Totoro. I would still be willing to join if I knew that this movie could be purchased as a fulfillment. Could somebody confirm that Totoro can be purchased through the Disney Club? If so, how much do they charge? 19.95? 21.95?

Thanks in advance...

It should count as a fulfillment since it's available for purchase @ $19.95. I just checked.

Chronicles of Narnia

Any idea when Chronicles of Narnia will be available as an enrollment? I'm waiting for that before I sign up.
