Pieces is available, but hacked to bits.

Diamond among others released a standalone for sure

it is still available in

but a better release is being worked on by Grindhouse. Who did the Cannibal Holocaust disc. Supposed to be from a pristine print....been waiting a while for it.

Myspace page for Grindhouse founder http://www.myspace.com/sagestallone

its also being shown at the grindhouse film fest in LA

It's just trying to live up to its name. Wasn't there also a release of this on dvd from one of those bargain companies?

Gonna be a long wait for the Grindhouse version, what with Murawski busy on SPIDERMAN 3. Until then, I've got a Diamond version with yet a different cover. Can anyone confirm that the Diamond version is cut?

Yeah, one of Brentwood's 4 Movies releases: Blood Bath. It's full screen and crappy quality. The back cover says "unrated" but I won't assume it's the uncut version.

I believe all the editing/restoration had been finished for Pieces. The new print is getting a show at the Grindouse festival. Just need to get all the extras/commentaries etc finished.
