I just starting watching Charmed...
Well, after watching Buffy and Angel many many times through, I thought I would give Charmed a shot. Ive never seen a complete episode before, only bits and pieces while flipping through the channels. I bought the first 3 Season and plan to watch them all the way through in the next few weeks.
I know Charmed is not as big as Buffy, and its not a topic of as many discussions here, but I do know there are some fans.
I just finished the first 3 episodes, and so far, eh. Its nothing special. Seems interesting, but very slow and corny. Maybe comparable to the first season of Buffy (I will make alot of Buffy refrences in this thread). I know Danielle Harris stops by for a bit (glanced at IMDB for her a while back), and obviously Prue 'goes away' and Rose McGowans character comes into play.
Please, no spoilers unless they are blacked out.

It lacked the rabid fans because the entire first two seasons are basically comprised of standalone episodes. It isn't until season three that anything resembling an arc comes along. I had that 'ehh' feeling all through the series, but it was an entertaining 'ehh'...

I watched Charmed for the first couple of seasons but it was never anything as good as it could have been. Once they started getting into the gimmicks ever week I tuned out.
Good series finale though.
