Would like to make a few mixed cds with some classic summer songs from the hip hop genre. Can't think of anything off the top of my head but am trying to grab songs from the 90s

Gangstarr - "DWYCK" - a must
Grand Puba - "360"
Souls of Mischief - "93 til infinity"
Biggy - "Juicy" "Big Poppa" "Party and Bullshit" "Hypnotize"
Craig Mack - "Flavor in your ear" and the remix

Those all may not have come out in the summer, but they sound like summer to me.

I guess this is a bit more R&B, but I'd have to suggest:
Mark Morrison - "Return of the Mack"
Off the top of my head:
Ma$e - "Lookin' at Me" or "Feel So Good"
The Roots f. Cody ChestnutT - "The Seed 2.0"
Arrested Development - "Tennesse"
Q-Tip - "Let's Ride"
Eric B. & Rakim - "Don't Sweat the Technique"
Nice & Smooth - "Rhyme Slow"
Haiku d'Etat - "Non Compos Mentis"
K-Os - "Clap Ur Handz" (works great as an intro)
Nas - "Halftime"
Jurassic 5 - "Jayou"
Paperboy - "Ditty"
Young MC - "Roll with the Punches"
Kanye West - "The New Workout Plan"
Outkast - "Wheelz of Steel"

Bone thugs n Harmony - 1st of tha Month
I think I was a senior in high school when BTNH really took off. MTV actually used to play this video alot when it first appeared. Tha Crossroads was clearly the biggest hit, but 1st of tha Month definitely has that lazy Summer feel to it.

On a slightly different note, a lot of Latin rap has a nice summer feel to it. Some of my favorites:
Lighter Shade of Brown "Hey DJ", "On a Sunday Afternoon", "TJ Nights", "Spill the Rhyme"
Mellow Man Ace "Mentirosa"
Latin Alliance "Low Rider (on the Boulevard)"
Delinquent Habits "Tres Deliquentes"

Dr. Dre and Snoop: Ain't Nothing But a G Thing always reminds me of summer. Brass Monkey by the Beastie Boys is another one, as is Going Back to Cali from LL Cool J.
