Best Buy Reward Zone - Holiday Deals

In a recent mailing (Black Friday), there was a voucher stating that RZ members will receive double points on a single item from December 2nd-December 5th.

For those who haven't gotten Seinfeld sets yet, beginning November 27th, you can receive 45,000 Bonus Points for the purchase of 2 sets or 60,000 Bonus Points for 3 sets. Those points equal to $15 and $20 in certificates.

I bought SEASON'S 5 & 6 @ CIRCUIT CITY b/c they were $5 cheaper on each. I haven't opened them yet but I think I would be in the red if I returned them to CC then re-bought them at BB, no? I am not good with math. Lemme know.

Just so people know, I have never joined the reward zone club. I just have cc price match and I have never had a problem.

That's brilliant!!
That way you never have to deal with those pesky reward zone certificates they would always be sending you in the mail. Wish i had thought of this before i signed up

Unfortunately, they raised the price of Seinfeld to 44.99 from 34.99...so it really isn't a very good deal after all. Not OP's fault...they are definitely weasals at BBY....

Is this a coupon that has to be scanned or was it automatic for RZ customers?

Hmmm... so with the new price increase and tax and subtracting the $15 in RZ points, I could either get the 5 and 6 sets at BestBuy? for around $81 total or keep the ones I got at Target last week with tax and subtracting the two $5 gift cards for around $54 total. Not much of a dilemma if you ask me. I'll keep the Target-purchased sets, thanks. (Even if they kept the old price at BB, it would still total around $60.)

I saw in the DVD section of the ad that the FREE "DVD Holiday Buyer's Guide" has coupons in it.

Anything good?

Is it the book with the front cover with a guy carrying a Xbox 360 and "more Joy to give, 2005 holiday gift guide"? My copy was mailed to me and it doesn't have any coupon in it.

Yep 30 seconds and straight into the trash. I feel sorry for the trees that gave their lives for that waste of paper.

There are some coupons off of BBC titles, including Coupling and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (there are more titles, but I don't have my copy near me). Pretty sure it was 20% off...

Hopefully someone will put the Seinfeld sets on sale. Best Buy has a ridiculous $44.99 price on 5 and 6.

so back to an on topic question asked in the midst of this rambling about coupons. . . is the double reward zone points an automatic deal, or does the voucher/coupon have to be presented? i didn't see anything on the RZ site and i've moved recently so no bb mailings here. i want to get a D*TV HD-DVR and to get 2x RZ points (80,000 or 120,000, depending on how they handle the $200 rebate issue), plus the $20 off from the other coupon linked here , i'll be a very happy camper on saturday!!

Just received mine in the mail yesterday. It is a coupon with a UPC code to scan, so I think you have to have it with you. Now if only I can get my money from ebay and they get a 360 in this weekend I will be set.

I've heard through the grapevine that the OKC-area BBs won't be getting any more 360s in until the middle of December. . .

Well they were only $30 at many retailers last week. Doubtful there will be a sale any time soon.

Does this work? (link provided in an email to me, but doesn't at all appear to be account specific, unless someone else thinks so)
