They should just go all the way with it and have McG direct.

So I finally see Star Wars last night and there's a preview for this piece of crap. But not a regular preview, mind you. Oh, no -- we can't have that. The preview for Carlito's Way II runs mixed in with all the Coke ads and Volkswagon ads. Yes, that's right, folks -- they couldn't even get their preview mixed in with the other previews and had to run it as a paid ad.

This looks like it could be the worst idea for a movie since ... well, ever. "Hey, I know! Let's take a subtle, well-acted meditation on redemption and the lure of the criminal life and do a prequel filled with guns and bling-bling!"

So this prequal should be set around the 1960's and by the look of Puff Daddy's wardrobe at the website it looks like 2005.
It's set in the 1960s. Here's some behind-the-scenes photos.

Combs' wardrobe might have to do with the possibly flashy nature of his character, "Hollywood Nicky".

Puffy's hairstyle is what he wears today.

He should have an afro period.

I saw the preview tonight with War of the Worlds. It looks awful. The cinematography makes it look like a TV movie.

Puffy must throw some good parties and must invite the right people, remember he was at this years Oscars.
So somebody must like him.

Come on, the man produced Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain and that wasn't that bad of a movie...

Then again, I haven't seen it in ten years. Then again, when I was ten, the film was appealing to me due to all the underage hotties in it....

And now, I'm going to shut up...

I don't think I've ever heard of Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain.
