Just missed this for pre-order (donno why I never noticed it had a 08/03 releasedate)

Anyone care to comment on this movie - maybe someone has got the dvd, too ?

I just read a review at www.currentfilm.com, and the review rated the dvd as poor. I read this review about 6 hours after buying it. I hope it doesn't suck as much as he says. I'll have my review probably Monday.

The film has a great cast, and a few really interesting scenes, but overall it just doesn`t work. You get the feeling a good movie could have been made, but wasn`t. A disappointment.

A Life Less Ordinary wasn't that bad. I thought that although it could have been better, it could have been a lot worse. It has a great cast and although the plot suffers at times, the movie is actually kinda good. I'm thinking about getting the DVD, but it isn't high on my list of wanted DVDs so I might not get it for a while.

Hmmmm, as I recall I found it to be actually quite entertaining. Holly Hunter and Delroy Lindo are quite funny, The plot is ridiculous... and Ewan McGregor's haircut was unnerving. Still, kind of fun. Would buy it if under $14.99 otherwise I'd say rent it.

Jeez, I forgot how much this movie ruled. I really enjoyed watching it again. The dvd image isn't great, but its not horrible. Its a little soft and the not as colorful as I was hoping it was going to be. Besides that I saw no problem with the DVD. I especially liked the menus. They had a little animation and sound. I would say if you liked this movie, then buy this dvd for a decent price. I bought mine at Bigstar using the $10 coupon and got for around $16 dollors.
