Maybe it's just me, but I really don't see any sale prices there. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the thread, but those prices seem bad.. (Hoping I can do better than $20 with Mary Poppins for one!).

(I really need to read my posts more carefully at work for spelling!)

not a bad price for ROTK, but I hope some other places offer it lower or in some kind of deal.

Really? I remember paying $30 for FOTR:EE and $27 for TTT:EE so $23 is a huge bargain for B&M, IMO. I haven't done the research (pre-ordered at B&N using 10-off-25) but I'm sure BB is lower than anywhere on-line, at least right now. I'd be (happily) surprised if anyone beats $23.

Thanks for the early prices. Probably just Collateral for me.

I've got ROTK coming from B&N.com but I'll be getting Top Gun with the bonus disc, Mary Poppins, Collateral, Princess Diaries 2 & Meet The Parents. I'm hoping CC & Target have some better prices on some to do some pricematching with.

Not too bad for ROTK EE. Still unsure if I want the gift set, or just the regular edition. Don't know if the stash box and extra DVD are worth an extra $27.

I was sort of hoping they'd have some kind of "Get $XX off when you buy 2 Star Trek TOS sets, or $YY off when you buy all three." But I don't believe they've run one of those on TV shows in quite some time.

I plan on using my last madden coupon on:
Top Gun
I Robot
ROTK

They have let me use them on new releases before so I will keep my fingers crossed this last time!

yeah, but that was over a year after it came out. When it came out, it was like $26 at most stores or something like that.

I think both FORT and TTT EE's were priced at $25...I remember pricematching to 23.99 from FRY's ad. This lower price is an added bonus (of course I was expecting Top Gun to be 12.99...)

Here's what I have paid for the trilogy movies so far:

Theatrical Editions (All bought when ROTK came out)"
FOTR: $15.99
TTT: $15.99
ROTK: $13.99

Extended Editions:
FOTR: $19.99 (The Target ad, June 2003)
TTT: $23.99 (Fry's Ad, release week)

It would be nice if someone beats BB here, but $22.99 is fine. I just hope that Fry's goes 3 for 3 with the Star Trek pricing, and puts it in their ad on Wednesday for $79.99.

That would undercut the price of the three pack, so of course they'd have to have one at a higher price.
