City Of Heroes Billing Problem

I was afraid of this as this was my first MMORPG type game.

My account has been inactive for 3 months but they have been billing me. The wife has been paying the bill and I did not know they have been ripping me off.

Needless to say I am trying to get it straightened out now.

Does anyone have a phone number for them? Can't find it on their website anymore.

Anyway double check your credit card statements just in case.

Dumb question...is your account "inactive" because you simply aren't logging on anymore, or did you tell them you want to cancel your account?

No it was canceled. I finally did get ahold of them and they took care of it very professionaly.

Apparently when you sign up you have a COH account and a PLAYNC account. When I canceled I just did the COH account alone I guess. They could tell I had not logged into the game and saw I canceled the one account 3 months ago.

They said they are going to issue a full refund for the three unused months.

Bottom line, it is somewhat my fault, but there system for accounts is way to complicated for my pea-brain. Even after she was explaining it to me. I don't know why I have two accounts for one game.

Also she said after receiving my refund I cant activate again for the amount of time I was refunded. So if I want to play again I have to wait three months. Screwy.

Regardless they handled it as well as I could have hoped for.
