Worst Movie/DVD You Have Ever Seen?

What is the worst movie/dvd you have ever seen? Here is a short list of mine:

Fargo
Moulin Rouge
13th Warrior
Out of Time
Pieces of April

These just came to my head, I am sure there are many many more.

A movie I rented called Drive In. My buddies and I made better movies with a camcorder in 9th grade.

Without a doubt, Forces of Nature. One of the very first DVDs I ever bought, and it was so mind-bogglingly awful, it's a wonder I didn't stop buying them after that.

BTW, Moulin Rouge is one of my favorites. To each his own.

WORST DISC: Metropolis - the old version.

I bought it to show a friend who had never seen Metropolis -- I had talked it up for days and then when I popped the disc in, he basically laughed at me! (and i laughed at the disc). It was SOOO bad -- not only was the image terrible, but it was mis-framed and crooked, so the text cards were slanted and partly off the screen so you couldn't read them!

I was so indignant I made the used store take it back for a full refund, even though they don't normally do returns. I haven't gotten the new & improved version yet.

For those who hate Moulin Rouge, why? I actually strongly dislike the film, but I think the dvds are great - great image, great sound, great features, great everything. What's not to like?

WORST MOVIE: Fando & Lis

I've seen some bad artsy fartsy movies but this one really sent me over the edge. Just utterly stupid drivel, with none of the boundary-breaking intelligence or imagery that Jodorosky's later movies hold. The disc is pretty darn good though - it includes a humoungous feature-length documentary, discussing among other things the failed Dune adaptation that he and other luminaries were working on. If you can get around the interviews with Marcel Marceau (!) its an entertaining, if a bit pretentious, documentary.

Sword and the Sorcerer, The (1982)

Though there are so many more crap movies, though that most be one of the worst I've seen. And I saw the whole movie, which I always do.

Worst Movie(s)- John Carpenter's Vampires, its sequel, Vampires Los Muertes, A Murder of Crows, leprechaun, Romance, Sex and Lucia and far, far too many to lst. THe DVD's for these titles are pretty lame as well.

Buckee, if you didn't like Vampires, then why'd you watch its sequel?

The trailer for the sequel looked half-way decent. However, not even five minutes into the flick, it went straight down the crapper. Just post me in the "glutton for punishment" corner.

In no particular order:

Lost In Translation
The Core
Mission To Mars
Planet of the Apes (remake)
Battlefield Earth
eXistenZ
End of Days
Jurassic Park 3 (I should have known to stay far away)
Blade 2 (sorry guys, the sequel sucked ass)
THX (what a waste of my $19.99, it was a blind buy)
Rocky 5 (what were they thinking? I loved the other 4 though.)

Hard to choose just one as the absolute worst and I'll exlude all the MST3K movies like Manos since I really didn't just watch the movie.

Planet of the Apes remake might be right at the top though. Can't think of I movie I disliked more than that one. House of 1000 Corpses comes to mind though so its probably a tie between those two.

Most boring movie goes to THX 1138 though. Even his director's cut still reminded me of watching a bad student film.

But now it's a bad student film with multi-million dollar CGI special effects!

Worst movie = NATURAL BORN KILLERS
Worst DVD = 2nd vote for the Madacy version of METROPOLIS

You should--soon. So good it hurts (though I wished they'd placed the trailer found at http://www.kino.com/metropolis/showtimes.html on the disc--that would have pushed the disc from "great" to "perfect")...
