Review of Takashi Miike's Izo

Don't know if I should've posted this in the Int'l DVD forum but I figure since this film just came out in Japan, I might as well post it here...

The trailer for this is amazing. I'm excited for this one.

Miike has another movie coming out called Three Monster and it was co-directed by Park Chan-Wook, Fruit Chan and Takashi Miike. I'm thinking it's like 3 different short movies in 3 different languages etc... they did the same thing a few years ago and called it Three also. Anyway, this one has much better directors and I anticipate it being kickass.

Another one I'm looking forward to is A Taste of Tea by Katsuhito Ishii.

Here's some links:

Looks good...With the music in the background, it reminded me of an old Ministry or Skinny Puppy video...

I saw that trailer in a Miike thread floating around here. I hope it'll play close by, otherwise I'll have to wait for the DVD. Either way, I can't wait to see it.

I had never heard of this guy until a few weeks ago when a small theatre in San Francisco was going to be doing a slumber party all night film festival of this guy.
I read the synopsises and they sounded way out there.

I would like to see one.
